Pediatric Dentistry

Providing Pediatric Dental Services

Not every dentist can provide children’s services. Pediatric dental is quite different from providing oral health care to adults. Children’s teeth are smaller and not firmly rooted. They require more preventive care than adults. Children also need to be educated about oral health care. We at Charisma Dental are attuned to pediatric needs and love helping children keep their mouths healthy!

Understanding Children

It takes a special type of dental professional to work with children. Children are unsure about going to the dentist. Some may even be afraid. They are also curious about procedures, the equipment, and what the dentist is doing. We take the time to explain things to children so they know we have their best care in mind.

Educating Children

The best time to form good dental habits is during childhood. Habits learned during this time will likely stick with them in adulthood. That’s why it’s good to start a child seeing a dentist as soon as teeth start coming in. We can educate them on good oral health as they grow so they keep their teeth for a lifetime.

Orthodontic Care

Many children will eventually need orthodontic care. Charisma Dental has you covered. Our dentist can refer you to our orthodontist as they need the needs of your child. We are one practice that can take your child from when they first get teeth through the teen years into adulthood.

Get Your Child Started with Oral Health Care

The sooner your child gets their first exam, the better their oral health care will be. We can detect problems early on so you can deal with them before they become big issues.

We have sealants that protect children’s teeth and early cavity detection so your child can have the best preventive dental care.
